If you are looking for something new and a little different, The Light Park Tenerife will offer you and your family a truly magical experience.

This 2000 year old tradition dating back to the Han Dynasty is an incredible sight to witness.

There are more than 800 different light installations that are handmade with different silks and bulbs.

As you enter the magical land, you will walk through the stunning 40 metre dragon which leads to different fantasy worlds such as the underwater experience and the fairytale world. Children will be fascinated by what they see and even babies will be stimulated by the different lights.

There is a luminous children’s park with a colourful jumping zone and illuminated swinging chairs.

You will also find a mini train and boat ride (for a small extra charge). There is a giant moving polar bear and a lady blowing huge bubbles too!

You can even watch a live acrobatic performance that takes place a few times every night.

Right in the middle of the place you will find a giant marquee with a bar inside serving food and drink.

The venue is based in the hills above Costa Adeje and is open Tuesday through to Sunday 19:30- 00:00. It’s definitely best to go after the sun has gone down as the lights are most impressive then, so make sure the little ones have had a siesta that day.

• The ground is a little bumpy but still good enough to push a buggy on
• There is ample free parking or a taxi wouldn’t be more than 15 euro from most resorts in the south
• A free bus can be booked from several destinations but it must be booked by calling (+34) 642 542 798
• It can get a little chilly at night so bring something warm for the kids
