10. Light Park Tenerife

If you are looking for something new and a little different, The Great Chinese Lantern Show will offer you and your family a truly magical experience.This 2000-year-old tradition dating back to the Han Dynasty is an incredible sight to witness.There are more than 800 different light installations that are handmade with different silks and bulbs. Walk through the stunning 40 metre dragon which leads to different fantasy worlds such as the underwater experience and the fairytale world. Children will be fascinated by what they see and even babies will be stimulated by the different lights. There is a luminous children’s park with a colourful jumping zone and illuminated swinging chairs. There is a giant moving polar bear and a lady blowing huge bubbles too. With bright lights and loud music, you know something special is about to occur. The excitement builds as bounding knights on horses appear. The show itself is an impressive spectacle to witness with your family members by your side. Join together and cheer for your Knight as he competes in jousting battles and sword fights against his mortal enemies. The horses are amazing to see with their tricks and skills. 4. Aqualand & Dolphin Show

Theres fun and thrills to be had for the whole family at this action-packed water park. With families in mind, Aqualand has amazing facilities available for kids of all ages and heights. There are many slides within the park to keep thrill seekers happy but what really appeals to families is the way Aqualand caters perfectly for children. The kid's pool is ideal for babies and toddlers as the water is shallow with colourful baby slides throughout. For braver toddlers and small kids, there is also a pirate themed adventure park with different trails, slides, tunnels, water taps and even a ticking bucket of water that tips up when you least expect it! Adventure Land has four slightly bigger slides for small children and the wave pool is heated with small waves so it’s perfect for the whole family to enjoy. Mega Adventure Land has six amazing slides with different shapes and speeds. Young children get their first taster of what grown up slides are like with these awesome mini versions. They get to go down on mats or rubber rings by themselves if they can muster up the courage. The phenomenal Dolphin Show is open every afternoon where the Dolphins and their trainers perform to music whilst families clap along. 3. Submarine Safari

If you would love to see what lies 100 feet underneath the Atlantic Ocean without getting your hair wet, then look no further than the world-famous Yellow Submarine! It is spacious and doesn’t feel claustrophobic at all. It has a normal atmosphere so is absolutely fine for people of different ages, ear conditions, and even pregnant women. You don’t experience sea sickness on a Submarine and you can’t even feel it moving. The Submarine is large and feels very spacious. Every two seats have their own private viewing window for you to witness the incredibly vast marine life in the Great Atlantic Ocean. You never know what you might see down there! You have a digital screen so you can see the submarine moving underneath the water. It is a really incredible family experience, especially for those who aren’t able to scuba dive. It gives children their first taster of what lies deep under the sea!

2. Loro Parque

Loro Parque houses some of the most incredible animals. You can watch the dolphins as they perform tricks and dances as well as the humongous orcas as they swim and splash! Watch out, they don’t just splash a little bit. You could get soaked!  These are just two of the most popular attractions inside the park. Visiting the penguins on a revolving platform through their Arctic, polar environment is simply amazing. The Park is famous for it's many Parrots which you can view and enjoy as you move around the Park, but it's also a sanctuary for a wide selection of endangered species from around the world. The variety of animals at Loro Parque is vast. With Sea Lions, Gorillas, Chimps, Tigers, and even Sharks, it’s easy to see why it’s a firm favourite with families visiting Tenerife. 1. Siam Park

Siam Park is the number one attraction for families in Tenerife. With something to suit every age group, Siam Park creates holiday memories that will last a lifetime. The water park has been voted number one in the world year after year and it’s easy to see why. The thing that we love most is that the park has something for all age groups. There are three separate baby/ children’s slides areas and splash zones. There is even a treetop park. The Lost City is a favorite of ours with mini slides, climbing nets and water buckets. There is a kid’s beach, Coco Beach at Siam Park where babies can paddle, play and build sandcastles. It includes a mini version of the big wave machine! There’s an abundance of slides for big kids too including some of the fastest and longest in the world. There’s so much for kids to enjoy at Siam Park and if they are over 110cm they can ride on lots of the big family slides too. If somebody in the family doesn’t like water, they can watch the sea lions or float on the lazy river or even peer into the amazing shark tunnel. Siam Park is the perfect family day.
