The Resort

The hotel has an amazing central location, right in the middle of the shopping district in Playa De Las Americas. The area is flat, surrounded by bars, shops and restaurants and it’s just metres away from the 10-mile seafront promenade lined with beautiful beaches. It is close to attractions such as Siam Park, Aqualand and Jungle Park and these parks even have free busses that pick up close to the hotel!

The Rooms

Most rooms sleep up to 4 people and the bigger rooms are quite large. Standard rooms are different sizes. They have smaller rooms for single parents with infants as well as bigger rooms that can sleep up to 4. You can also pay for upgrades at the time of booking such as pool views or ocean views. Cots can be provided and all rooms have an empty minibar. The empty mini bar is free of charge for all inclusive customers but if you are staying on a half board basis there is an extra charge. Some rooms have baths and others just have showers so it’s important to request your preferred option at the time of booking. 

If you book one of the hotel’s special ‘UP Rooms’ you get a few welcomed extra perks such as; one free family spa visit per week, priority kids club reservations, priority access to the children’s evening playroom as well as an a la carte meal in the UP lounge on family night!

Bars & Restaurants

The All-inclusive option means that families can eat and drink buffet style three times a day as well as snacks and drinks in between. They even provide a kid's buffet. Highchairs and microwaves are available in the restaurants as well.

There are specific bar areas designed for families with family fun entertainment and you will also find adult only bars for those wanting to escape for a while.

The hotel’s entertainment team run activities day and night including the all-important mini disco!

The Pools

There are 5 outdoor pools, two of which are specifically for kids. One of the kid’s pools is heated in the winter. There is even an Aqua Park with racing and looping slides, also heated in the winter. It’s worth noting that children must be 1.2 metres or above to use the slides. Having separate family and adult only pools is really nice, especially if you are travelling as a large group with grandparents who may wish to escape the noise for a while.

There are also spa and gym facilities in the hotel.

Kid’s Club

The hotel run entertainment team work hard to keep everyone happy. The kid’s club is available for children from 4 years old. Mini club (4-12 years) organises games, sports, drama, music and computer games. It’s open all day between May and October from 10:00-20:00. They even organise ‘story time’ between 19:00-23:00.

Teens aren’t forgotten with a Teen’s Club open between 18:00-23:00 with music, sports and video games.

Important… kid’s club times vary in the winter months especially out of the school holidays. We also recommended that you book your kid’s club spots asap when arriving at the hotel as places are limited at peak times!

The hotel has lots of facilities including a football pitch and a games room with arcade games. The arcade games come with an additional charge.

The children’s playground is great with climbing frames, slides and an adventure play area. There is an area shaded from the sun too. There is a nice indoor play area as well if you want to keep the little ones out of the sun for a while.

PROS:

• The location is great. It’s not too far from the airport (less than half an hour's drive) and it’s right in the middle of the shopping areas, close to the beaches and promenade and close to attractions such as Siam Park.
• There is a splash park and 5 pools! The family pool is heated in the winter.
• Fantastic family friendly entertainment including mini discos.
• Indoor play area and park for all ages.
• Mini Club from 4-12, plus a teen club as well.
• Kids buffet is available.
• Up Rooms include extra facilities for families such as priority kids club reservations and evening children’s playroom.

CONS:

• The central location can mean that it will be noisier at times.
• There isn’t a specific baby club within the hotel.
• There are height restrictions on the slides in the splash park (min 120cms).
• The family pool areas can get busy during the school holiday periods.
