Landmar Costa Los Gigantes
The Resort
Situated in the beautiful Los Gigantes area, the Hotel Costa Los Gigantes offers families the perfect vacation. Playa La Arena beach is located just down the hill. Its a small and sandy sheltered bay with sun beds and parasol’s available for hire at a small charge. You will find a handful of bars, shops and restaurants in the resort and if you like walking, you can walk between the small resorts of Playa La Arena, Puerto Santiago and Los Gigantes with ease. Taxis are also cheap between the three small resorts often costing less than 10 euros. The busier resorts in the South can be reached by local bus for under 5 euros or a taxi for between 30-50 euros.
This hotel has some of the best facilities in Tenerife for children and is one of Travel 4 baby’s favourites. Everyone is catered for at this hotel!
People staying here often chose to hire a car during their stay and the hotel offers parking spots charged at 8 euros per night. This must be booked directly with reception on arrival. There is free parking on the streets as well if you don’t mind walking a little.

This All-inclusive hotel has vast open spaces, large rooms and an exceptional number of facilities catered specifically for children.
The Rooms
You can book standard rooms, large double rooms or for more space, suites come with a separate living room area. They can sleep up to 4 people. Some rooms can even sleep up to 5 people! Cots are placed in the rooms for children under two years old automatically. If you have an older child that requires at cot, just request it before you arrive and they will have one ready. All rooms come with a bath and shower as well as a minibar (extra charge).
For an extra special touch, you can book a ‘Landi suite’. When booking a Landi Suite, Landi, the hotel’s giant turtle mascot will meet and greet you at the hotel, you receive 1-hour free baby club during your stay and the rooms offer extra children’s facilities, minibar and toiletries too.

Food & Drink
There are several bar and restaurant options available including buffet, A La Carte and even show cooking. They have children’s sections and will heat up baby food on request. They even offer a daily, baby purée service, but this must be ordered in advance either the day before at reception or by contacting the hotel pre travel.
The main buffet restaurant opens for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. The A La Carte must be pre booked for evening mealtimes. The Nautilus pool bar opens for breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks as well as other snack bars throughout the day. One thing is for sure, you will never go hungry at this hotel!
Bar wise, you have relaxing options with laid back music as well as the family favourite, ‘The Music Hall Broadway’ with live shows and mini discos daily!
The pools
You will find 6 pools including 2 baby splash pools as well as a pool with a giant slide. There’s also a small toddler's water park with tiny slides and spray jets. The main family pool is heated in the winter months. Children aged from 4 upwards can even use the indoor heated spa at specific times! This must be reserved in advance.
Children’s facilities
Children are kept happy with a small water park, a large soft playground area, a mini golf course and even a high ropes circuit! Height restrictions apply for the high ropes. Theres a multi sports court and the hotel has a great entertainment team organising daily and nightly activities.
Kid’s Clubs
The mini club includes sports, arts and crafts and games. It is a supervised service specifically for children aged between 4-12 years old. This is free of charge but must be reserved in advance. If children under 4 wish to use the kids club facilities, they can as long as they are supervised by their parent. If you what childcare options for children under 4, you have the option of the baby club.
The baby club comes with an extra charge and it is open 10-6pm, five days a week. The childcare professionals will look after children aged between 6 months and 3 years old. Again, advanced booking is required. It costs 10 euros per hour for babies up to 18 months and 7 euros per hour for 19 months and above.
Important… Speak to the hotel in advance or at the time of check in about baby/kid's club reservations so you don’t miss out.

CONS:
- Quite a hilly location. You have to walk down hill 100 metres to reach the nearest beach, bars, shops and restaurants.
- Quite a remote location.
- Around an hour’s drive away from the airport.
- Over half an hour drive away from attractions such as Siam Park.
