Iberostar Bouganville Playa
The location & Hotel
Right on the seafront, on the border between Las Americas and Costa Adeje. Close to some of the top, family friendly tourist attractions on the Island and with its amazing, direct seafront access, it is easy to see why the Bouganville Playa is a firm favourite with families in Tenerife.
The hotel has direct promenade access making it a perfect spot for strolls with the buggy! The beaches are directly in front of the hotel as well as the local port (Puerto Colón) where you will find daily boat trips to see the resident whales and dolphins.
Outside reception you will find bars, shops and restaurants galore. There are free busses to attractions such as Siam Park, Aqualand and Jungle Park. You are only a 5-minute drive from the water parks!
The hotel is situated on a fantastic bus route and is also close to the local bus station where busses run frequently around the Island.
If you choose to hire a car during your stay, hotel parking is available at a charge of 10 euros per night. You must organise this directly with the hotel.

The Rooms
There are numerous room options available in this hotel. Standard rooms, family rooms and interconnecting rooms too! Standard rooms can sleep between 2-3 people, these are good options for single parents or small families. Family rooms can sleep up to 3 people plus 1 infant and interconnecting rooms can sleep between 4-6 people! Cots can be provided for infants and all the rooms come with a mini fridge. The rooms have showers, not baths. If you would like to hire a baby bath during your stay, take a look at our Hire Shop. It can be delivered right to your door ready for you on arrival.
The Pools
The hotel has a grand total of 4 freshwater pools, 2 of which are children’s pools! Two of the pools are heated in the winter months between November 1st and April 30th. This includes one of the children’s pools. One of the kid's pools includes a mini water park with several exciting shoots and slides. Pool towels are available from the hotel with a simple deposit. There are baby changing facilities close to the pools and plenty of sun beds and parasols around.
Facilities for Kids
The kid's club is available for children aged between 4-12 years. The hotel-run childcare team organise activities such as arts and crafts, sports, dance and music as well as story nights, water games and mini discos.
We recommend you speak with the hotel at the time of check in regarding timings and bookings for the kid’s clubs as hours and availability will vary throughout the year.
You will also find a large children’s playground with slides, climbing frames and climbing walls. The adventure playground will give small children hours of fun. (Some attractions in the play park aren’t suitable for tiny tots).
There’s a fun games room with arcade games (these come with an extra charge) as well as pool tables and ping pong tables too.
The hotel entertainment team are always at hand, day and night organising water games, quizzes and live shows.
Gastronomy
The hotel offers a variety of board basis to suit your family’s individual needs. With bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive options all available.
The hotel has a main buffet restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and evening meals. The restaurant has highchairs and microwaves available. You will also find a hotel snack bar serving snacks and ice creams throughout the day.
Make sure you let the restaurant staff know if you need any hot water for bottles or any food puréing for the little ones.
On an evening the Lanzarote Bar comes alive with live shows and mini discos, or for a more chilled out evening, head to the Lobby Bar instead.
