The Resort

The location of this hotel is great for families with young children. You are right on the seafront promenade that stretches for almost 10 miles in length. You are also close to the stunning white, sandy beach of Playa Del Duque as well. The fishing village La Caleta is on your doorstep where you will find some of the island’s best restaurants and you are within close proximity to attractions such as Siam Park. The hotel offers a complimentary bus service daily into the busier resort of Playa De Las Americas. This needs to be booked at reception. Taxis to local attractions are cheap and easy and the hotel is on a local bus route with buses running every 30 minutes through the southern resorts. If you hire a car, there is plenty of available parking close to the hotel.

The Pools

The hotel has 5 outdoor swimming pools, one freshwater, one heated in the winter months and another one has ecological saltwater. There is even a children’s water park on-site with slides, water cannons and a tipping bucket. It’s worth noting that the hotel recommends the slides in the waterpark are for children aged 5-10 years old. This is however only a recommendation. There is also an adult only infinity pool with views over the Atlantic Ocean. It is the perfect escape for parents wanting a moment's peace!

For more adult only retreat time, check out the hotel’s gym and spa areas, the spa has a sauna and steam room as well as numerous treatments. These must be booked in advance and come at an extra cost.

Kids Clubs & Activities

There are many activities within the hotel for children. There’s the Daisy Mini Club and playground with daily activities such as arts and crafts, games and mini discos. The supervised kids club is available for children aged between 4-12. (Talk to reception about kid's club reservations when you check in.) The playground is available for any age group at anytime. You will find daily and nightly entertainment in the hotel. The entertainment team ‘The Blue Team’ are fantastic, running activities such as aqua gym, table tennis, cocktail workshops and more. The mascot ‘Daisy’ (literally a giant daisy) joins the kids every evening for mini discos and party nights. Live shows also to take place every night.

The Rooms

Standard and superior rooms sleep up to three people, but the hotel also has a selection of family rooms available that can sleep up to four. These rooms are larger, open plan and have a king size bed plus a double sofa bed. Family rooms come with a few extras for kids, such as Daisy-branded welcome kits. Cots can be provided at request and all rooms have baths and mini fridges too.

The Food

The hotel can offer a variety of board basis from Half board up to All inclusive. You have a main buffet restaurant as well as snack bars and two a la Carte restaurants, one Spanish and the other is a Teppanyaki show dinner. They have kids buffets as well as kid’s menus. Highchairs are present in all the restaurants. They have pool bars, snack bars and a relaxing piano bar too. On the seafront the hotel even has its own beach bar!
