Zoo de Castellar

Going to the zoo is always a wonderful family day out – you will get to see the good job of preservation they do.

What can you expect?

A rather small zoo, which is actually a rescue area for all sorts of species. So they can live safely and cared for. You will be able to see amazing animals that kids are always impressed by such as the Bengal Tiger, Lions, Lynx, Leopard and more friendly ones such as foxes, turtles and otters.

How to get there

It’s located in the south of Spain, on the mountain side, in between Málaga and Marbella.

The zoo is quite far from any main town in Costal del Sol so it might be hard to reach by public transport and a taxi might be quite expensive as well. Regardless, always check with your hotel on what options you have available as they will use reputable companies. Do you have or are you thinking of renting a car? This is your ideal time; the most comfortable option will be to use a rental car. There are parking facilities around the area.
