Torre d'en Galmés
Visit one of the largest settlements in Menorca, part of the Talaiotic culture. It’s a wonderful way to know the history of the island during your family trip.
What can you expect?
The tower and all the architectural construction itself were intended for public life, you will get to walk through the ruines and explore the different rooms that long time ago were warehouses or pantries, rainwater systems and the most spectacular one known as the “Circle of Cartailhac”.
How to get there
A taxi might be quite expensive so always check with your hotel on what options you have available. Do you have or are you thinking of renting a car? This is your ideal time; you can use a rental car to get to the Tower. The ride is about 40 minutes long from the centre of Mahón. There are parking facilities provided in the area.
