Sea Life Benalmádena

This aquarium is a wonderful family day out opportunity when travelling to Costa del Sol and Benalmádena!

What can you expect?

This aquarium within Costa del Sol’s region is a wonderful family friendly experience. It’s a great way to learn about the marine life of this side of Spain as well as some exotic species such as impressive sharks, jellyfish, huge crabs, octopus and piranhas! Children will even have the chance to get their hands wet and know how it feels to touch a starfish, hermit crab or other friendly marine creatures.

How to get there

The aquarium is located in the port of Benalmádena, in “Avenida Puerto Deportivo”. From the centre of the town is just a 5-minute walk.

Want to use public transport? If you are staying in Málaga you can take the M-110 bus and stop at “Puerto Marina”, you will be 5 minutes away from the aquarium. From Marbella, you will need to take two transports, the Avanza L-528 bus to Fuengirola’s Terminal and right there at the train station take the M-120 bus.

A taxi might be quite expensive if you are not staying in Benalmádena. Always check with your hotel on what options you have available as they will use reputable companies. Do you have or are you thinking of renting a car? This is your ideal time; you can use a rental car. There are public parking spots around the area.
