Great places to visit in Benidorm

Here you will find some activities to help you keep your little ones entertained for a few hours with all the beautiful spots and landmarks within the city of Benidorm!
Casco Antiguo (Historic neighbourhood)
It’s very typical in Spanish cities to find a historic old neighbourhood as the one in Benidorm, full of charming streets, beautiful churches with interesting architectural details and lovely plazas where you can rest with the little ones and enjoy some nice cold beverages with traditional tapas.
Balcón del Mediterráneo (Mediterranean balcony)
It’s also known as “Mirador del Castillo” or “Castle’s Viewer”, as you will find this beautiful white staircase leading to the viewer from “Plaza del Castillo” or “Castle’s Plaza”; one of the most magical views from Benidorm.
Playas de Benidorm
There are four beaches in the area of Benidorm, but the closest ones to the centre are Playa de Levante and Playa de Ponente. Both with soft-sand and calm water, perfect for families with small kids who want to spend some relaxing time, bring some towels, fresh fruit and cold beverages and enjoy the nicest relaxing day as a family under the sun by the Mediterranean Sea!
Mirador de la Cruz (Viewer of the Cross)
Get a gorgeous landscape view of the entire city of Benidorm, the mountains that surround it and the Mediterranean Sea by going up to this viewer. It’s 217 metres high, in the highest point of Serra Gelada Natural Park.
Street Markets
There are several street markets all around the city, giving your family the chance to wonder around exploring Benidorm while getting some amazing souvenirs. Rincón de Loix is one of the most famous ones, right beside Hotel Pueblo and it opens Wednesdays and Sundays from 8 am to 2 pm. Another market is Mercadillo del Cisne (Swan’s Market) located 4km away from the centre. It has many second-hand items and antiques, it opens Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Mirador del Hotel Bali
People may not know that on top of the Bali Hotel there’s a beautiful spot where you can see the entire city and all its surroundings. We recommend you to check it if you want to see Benidorm from an entirely different perspective, plus with the 5€ that costs to get inside you get a beverage included in the pool bar – the best relaxing experience as a family!
